This monthly article features useful information about Dilithium, including what it is, how to earn it, and how to use it in-game. We’ll be featuring this article monthly, and adding to it as more questions about Dilithium arise.
What is Dilithium?
Beginning with the launch of Season 5: Call to Arms, Dilithium has become the major form of currency in Star Trek Online – it is primarily used to purchase in-game items, including ground and ship gear, starships, select Duty Officers and crafting materials, and is used to begin some Duty Officer Assignments. With the recent launch of Season 6 and 7, Dilithium is also used in select Starbase and Embassy Fleet Projects.
How is Dilithium earned?
Dilithium is primarily earned by completing in-game missions (PvP and PvE dailies, events, STFs, Duty Officer Assignments etc.), and is awarded as Dilithium Ore. Players can also go mining for Dilithium Ore once per day on the Vlugta Asteroid Field,...

RIFT 2.2 Hot Fix #14 - 5/22/13
QUESTS
* Morban: Added additional map markers for the quest Blast Away to help pinpoint the location of the cannons.
ZONES
* Morban: Reduced Draelocks damage across most of his abilities.
* Steppes of Infinity: For the instant adventure Capture Commanders, Antapo Commanders will now despawn two minutes after being captured. Additionally, if a Commander gets stuck in the terrain, it will despawn if the player moves far enough away.
* Steppes of Infinity: Fixed an issue during The Craft of Conflict zone event that could result in players not receiving credit if their characters die fighting the Nug Battler Nug .
CALLINGS
* Shaman: Vicious Streak now increases the critical chance of all abilities.
* Inquisitor: Radical Coalescence is now removed if the Inquisitor dies.
* Sentinel: Damage from Wrathful Exuberance is now reduced in PVP.
* Sentinel: Damage procs from Wrathful Exuberance now have a 35 meter range.
* Harbinger:...

The NA region shards will be coming offline tomorrow, 5/22/13, at 8:00am PDT for 2.2 Hot Fix #14. The estimated downtime window is ** 45 Minutes ** but we will try to come in under that!
Patch notes will be updated.
I'll be back in the morning with status updates during the downtime and maintenance. Cheers

We have some very big news to announce today - starting June 12, 2013 RIFT will be completely Free-to-Play!
All the content, levels, and features. We're making it a bonus, not a requirement to be a subscriber - now you & all of your friends can enjoy everything RIFT has to offer together, with no barrier to entry.
There is a lot to go over - but we've made it very easy to learn all the details and we'll continue to explore what this change means for you as subscribers (now known as Patrons) and the future of RIFT in the weeks ahead!
No doubt there will be many questions, we're happy to answer as many as we can and have a few events planned to explore the many awesome features and bonuses we have in store.
